I'd probably play a tomb only mode if completing the main game unlocked a the option, but it didn't and I'm not going back in to find them. I only did three of those, as they're optional, but I bet the rest are good.
#TMNT TURTLES IN TIME GAME GRUMPS PLUS#
Story is weak, cutscenes/dialogue are piss poor when compared to Drake & co., but in the plus column the bow is well used, the climbing is more varied and the puzzles are better if you include the tombs. I don't, but it continues the good work started with the reboot. It's easy to see why some folks prefer this to Uncharted. Bobs around the top tier of Master System games, probably just outside the top 10 as some gameplay elements have to be overlooked these days, but it's different enough to be worth a proper look for anyone wanting to check out a lesser-known Sega/Disney effort. Conception 2: Children of the Seven Starsĭidn't realise we were doing the placeholder thing, so Divinity Original Sin: Enchanced EditionĢ3. Prey - very fucking cool FPS that is filled to the brim with cool solutions to environmental problems. Persona 5 - a thematically tight and very cool adventure that feels somewhat content light (bizzarely) coming off the back of P4G.ġ2. As I said elsewhere - better than I had feared, not as good as I had hoped.ġ1. Overall, I couldn't argue anyone rushes out to get it, but there is a fair amount of very good stuff there buried between some absolutely baffling design decisions and more than a little duff writing. Mass Effect: Andromeda - simultaneously consisting of 100% of the hottest piss imaginable and absolutely great proper Mass Effect sci-fi. God of War 3: Remastered - didn't finish, not gonna. Good for fans of good games and/or gratuitous panty shots.ĩ. A funny, thoughtful, sad, touching, exciting action RPG. Nier:Automata - Another great game, best 6 months in gaming, like, ever. Not gonna trouble my Best Games Eva list, but I'm glad I played it.Ĩ. But it was still fun because I liked the way choices worked, it was interactive enough not to feel like a Cage game, and because horror games get me far more than horror movies. I mean, let's be honest - as much as they talk about subverting and playing with genre tropes in the making of vids, this is about as standard horror as you can get. Until Dawn - played it with the missus and had a lot of fun with it. Yakuza 0 - A fun, touching, funny, exciting and incredibly moving epic that just adds to the feeling that gaming is in a very healthy state right now. Dead Rising 2: Off the Record - Bounced off the game many times before, like DR1, but this time I managed to "get" it and yeah, it's a lot of fun.Ħ. By the midway point, though, it doesn't feel any different to NG.ĥ. NG+, early on, is surprisingly tricky - enemies hit HARD, and take damage like mother fuckers. Bloodborne (NG+) - wanted to get this polished up before I give it to Chalice. But the enforced moments that were supposed to be thrilling felt flat to me.Ĥ. I enjoyed it most when it either gave me something to really play or just stopped pretending to be a game and made me watch a cutscene. Shame I absolutely hated the gunplay and the final stretch was truly awful.
Uncharted 4 - very pretty, I quite liked the story and puzzles. I'd recommend it, but only with a list of caveats.ģ. Nice aesthetic, great gadgets - let down by some weird design choices, as well as frame rate and control issues. Get through procedurally generated areas to get enough swag to take down a steampunk surveillance system before it goes live. Liking it a lot - scenery destruction is more than just cosmetic, operators are fantastically balanced and, when it clicks, it's truly fantastic.Ģ. Rainbow Six: Siege - this isn't really completable as it's a multiplayer game, so I'm just sticking it here.
